Barbara Jo Entwistle Esq.

I began the practice of law as a sole practitioner in Maryland in 1982, practicing primarily in Prince George’s, Montgomery, Howard and Frederick Counties. In 1984, my husband, myself and our four (4) children moved to a farm in Adams County, Pennsylvania, where I was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1984. I maintained a dual state practice, primarily in Adams, Franklin and York Counties in Pennsylvania and Frederick, Carroll, and Washington Counties in Maryland.

In my 40+ years of practice I have primarily focused on the areas of family law (including divorce, support, property distribution, and custody) and have served as a specially appointed Master in Adams County, Pennsylvania divorce cases. I have a solid background in criminal litigation, including summary, misdemeanor and felony cases (both jury and judge trials); estate planning, including wills, powers of attorney, living wills, and probate work; and real estate, including contracts, settlements and related matters.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time on my 45 acre home on Bear Mountain located in beautiful Adams County whenever possible with my four (4) daughters, eleven (11) grandchildren and five (5) great-grandchildren. I also enjoy traveling to Europe, St. John’s USVI, and Vinalhaven, Maine.
